LA’s My Double, My Brother crafts thoughtful, post-folk indie rock that walks the line between the ambitious and the intimate. Starting as the project of friends who met in their college’s music conservatory, the band members began writing songs together due to their common love for indie-rock music, and continue to write and play music together in and around LA.
After releasing two LPs ("What We Found Beneath the Ground" and "Shelves") and a slew of singles, MDMB released their third record in May of 2020 titled "Filaments." The record focuses on themes of connection, dreams and visions, and the ever-enduring search for wholeness and self-fulfillment.
MDMB is currently releasing singles leading up to the release of their fourth LP, "Something to Hold" set to release early 2023.
